Our terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. As a customer, it’s your responsibility to comply with all the specifics outlined in your booking confirmation email. Deviating from these details may result in the forfeiture of any advance deposits and Hamiltons Catering Events may seek further compensation for any losses incurred due to such deviations. Hamiltons Catering Events also reserves the right to impose a fuel surcharge of 30 pence per meal ordered, up to 7 days before the event, if there have been significant increases in fuel prices since your booking was made.

Agreed serving times may adjust in response to unforeseen events such as traffic, accidents, or weather conditions. If service occurs within 2 hours of the agreed time, no compensation will be offered. However, for delays exceeding two hours, with mutual agreement to proceed, a refund of up to 20% of the total order may be granted. In the unlikely event Hamiltons Catering Events cannot fulfill the contract due to unforeseen circumstances, no compensation is offered, but any payments will be refunded.

By placing an order, you acknowledge our requirement for a minimum of 8ft in width and 10ft in height for access. Failure to provide suitable access or inform us of any restrictions may result in the full payment being charged. Menu items are subject to substitution based on availability. Our unlimited servings offer applies only to the number of guests paid for; extras invalidate this offer, with food provided based on availability during the booked time.

Full payment for private events is due 7 days before the event date. We do not guarantee the appearance of our catering units and may use subcontractors. Any crockery provided to us in lieu of takeaway containers is at your own risk. You must ensure access to toilets and waste disposal (typically 3 bags per 100 servings). Special requests or menu changes must be finalized 7 days prior to the event. If power availability is undecided, you must confirm the need for a generator at least 7 days in advance, or venue power will be assumed. All deposits are non-refundable, with direct debit deposits calculated at 25% of your total order.
